It either doesn't apply to what I'm doing or it says to delete the keychain and create a new one. I've googled the prob and read through the keychain threads on here that I could find and I honestly don't even understand most of the advice that's given. I deleted the key thinking maybe if I opened the app again it would ask for the password again but it still stuck on that same error that asks for authentication and never accepts my password. That it has been restricted to a specific user account. I tried going into keychain access and opening the VPN Unlimited key to see what the password was but it says I don't have access.

Plus I just tried to download a book through Adobe Digital Editions and i'm getting an error code there too. Now iMessage won't login and FaceTime says it's logged in but instead of a list of my previous calls - the way it usually looks when I open the app - it's just a long list that says unknown number over and over. I've tried the password for the app, the password for my icloud account and the password for my laptop (the master password that I use whenever an app is installed) and nothing works. This is after I've already logged in when the app starts up. I keep getting a popup that says VPN Connection - Please enter your authentication information and has a password box. No matter what I do I can't get it to log in - after I've actually logged into the app. Yesterday I tried to change the server on VPN Unlimited and suddenly that keychain password wouldn't work. They actually fixed themselves somehow - without me doing anything.

I've had issues off and on with the keychain passwords on my 2012 MacBook Pro not working for iMessage and FaceTime.
